Could this be "in the name of brotherhood"?
thanks in advance.

for the brotherhood
Explanation:
Yes, the cofradías or hermandades are a kind of religious club (I don't mean to be irreverent, but that's how it feels) who wish to honour a particular saint/statue of a virgin/parish etc and will take the effigy out in procession during the "fiestas"/ Holy Week

agree  David Brown: yes, I like "Brotherhood" (although I suppose it's sexist these days)

-> Thanks David. Yes, plenty of women in the cofradías in Avila nowadays!

agree  Charlotte Fairweather: I think you still need to maintain the word cofradia in English however. eg. for the (cofradia) brotherhood, because that signals that it was for the cofradia rather than any other brotherhood. Or maybe a footnote or extra sentence.

"for its 'cofradia', the confraternity of men responsible for that church's Holy Week processions"

Explanation:
English has no one term for "cofradia". The guidebook reader needs to understand what, exactly, this "brotherhood" or "fraternity" would be.

agree  Deborah Lockett: agree with this rather than "brotherhood", which translates another term widely used in Andalusía, "hermandad" (brotherhood/sisterhood).
