Spanish term or phrase: conjunto de singulares retablos
La plaza de San Francisco (25) fue hasta hace dos siglos el compás de la iglesia y el convento del mismo nombre. El templo tiene su origen en un primitivo edificio construido en 1566 y reedificado en el siglo XVII. Sin embargo, la reforma más notable tuvo lugar en el siglo XVIII. De aquellos años es el estilo barroco del interior de la iglesia de una sola nave y abierta a un conjunto de singulares retablos donde se venera un amplio muestrario de la imaginería religiosa gaditana con obras de los artistas Martínez Montañés y Pedro Roldán.

neutral  Cinnamon Nolan: This could be the correct adjective, but there is a tendency to interpret UNIQUE as without equal rather than just notable or unusual; the text seems to indicate the altarpieces are extremely beautiful.

  -> Yes, as in the definition I provoded: being without a like or equal : single in kind or excellence. At least in the US, I believe unique is commonly used and understood this way.

agree  James A. Walsh: It's a really tough call this one! But I have to say, I think ‘Unique’ is most relevant in this context. I have no doubt it is also 'Outstanding', but I also have no doubt it is unique too, which takes precedence I reckon.

As Liz indicates, "conjunto" also means collection. I think either group or collection would be best here.
