I always wonder about this term, I sometime think about translating it a national but there is a term for this in Spanish.

I think natural space or area is probably the most appropriate.

Explanation:
Mi interpretación.
Un “paraje natural” me trae la idea de un lugar "creado" por la naturaleza, que el hombre aprovecha (tal y como está) para recrearse, en este caso para ver el paisaje. A mí personalmente, las palabras "spot" o "site" no me dan la idea gráfica de la posibilidad de observar el paisaje, aunque es cierto que son las opciones de traducción que obtenemos al buscar "paraje".

However, I found on google that if you type "natural viewpoint" in the image search, you get many many images of what can be interpreted as “parajes naturales” from different sources from both English and Spanish speaking countries. Anyway, as I said before, that’s just how I interpret the idea.
