Spanish term or phrase: tipo salón
¡Gracias!

  -> Cheers, Noni :)

agree  Jenni Lukac: If one thinks "Renaissance style cathedral" or "Japanese style garden", a hyphen seems out of order. I'm scratching my head to remember the rule...

  -> Thanks, Jenny - I think it should be hyphenated though if it reads "hall-style Gothic cathedral"

agree  Gilla Evans: yes, this refers to what is known as a hall church, which has aisles but no clearstorey, the interior of which is of approximately uniform height, characteristic of German Hallenkirche.

agree  Kate Major: Following the above research, I'd say this is it! :)

agree  Charles Davis: The hyphen seems right to me, but Jenni's got me wondering...
