Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Tourism & Travel / Hotels - Business
Spanish term or phrase: gestión en management
Ojo con el contexto. A table indicating "Distribución de los proyectos hoteleros en la ciudad según tipo de gestión aplicada." Three types: gestión propia; gestión en alquiler and (and here is my question) gestión en management.

I suspect the answer here is actually pretty simple, but because I don't get the concepts here... Im stuck.

Thanks. JRP

Actually just a synonym of FVS's suggestion - I'm surprised nobody else has suggested it yet as it's so commonplace in this context.

Maybe I should just have entered it as an agree to FVS...

Reference: Management contract

Reference information:
"A management contract is essentially an agreement between a hotel management company and a hotel property owner whereby the management company takes on the responsibility of
managing the hotel and its facilities. The owner, unless stipulatedotherwise, assumes a passive position with respect to operating decisions, while assuming responsibility for all working capital, operating expenses, and debt service. The
management company is paid a fee for its services and the owner receives the residual net
income after all expenses.
Unlike a property lease, the financial burden under a management contract is placed entirely on the owner, who enjoys the upside benefits of a successful property, but suffers the downside losses if the operation is not profitable"
