This remains a mystery. I am 90% sure it is not the check-in desk, as the two were referenced separately. I think it may refer to entering or inputting a piece of baggage into the system, which occurs after check-in, or as a subset of everything involved in the check-in procedure.

There is no context, Liz. It's a single line in Tag Editor with nothing else. The subject of the document is baggage handling procedures.

It's something that happens post check-in I believe, a bit more technical - like entering the baggage into the system. I realise there is a serious lack of context here, but that's what I have to work with.
