Explanation:
Here.'Comarca' is tricky to translate, supra means above and beyond, so I'd go with an expression like the one above.

Explanation:
There's a shift in perception here as "regional" is often used to denote autonomous regions in Spain, whereas it has a more general meaning in English. The "supercomarcal may not strictly refer to legally established counties either, so I would go with either one of these. In American English one could also say "involving several communities, but most of my Spanish clients are so certain that would be wrong (based on their own conception of the limits of that word) that I would probably rule that out. agree  Isamar: I like your third option. I agree that regional is often used here to denote the entire autonomous region. I just finished a translation that had 'región' and 'comarca' in it and ended up translating 'comarca' as 'district'.
