Spanish to English translations [PRO] Tourism & Travel | | Spanish term or phrase: valor urbanístico | Not sure how to translate 'valor urbanístico" here.
Urbanistic value (sounds odd to me)
Urban planning/development value?

5 mins confidence: peer agreement (net): +2 of the most value/ most valuable in terms of planning/urban design, architecture and history
Explanation: No option but to change the structure, if you ask me, because we do not have natural adjective for 'planning' or 'urban design'

43 mins confidence: peer agreement (net): +2 that comprises the greatest (heritage) assets in terms of*
Explanation: *architectural and historical buildings/sites... Or even better: "that comprises one of the greatest architectural and historical assets in Catalonia". My concern is with the translation of "urbanístico" here. Not all the textile colonies in the Bergueda are "urban" and most fall within a route created round a "Parc Fluvial". I think that "valor urbanístico" is used here to highlight the value of these places as heritage assets, as many are not situated within the actual urban fabric of a town or village. The urban planning concept is related to attempts to give these buildings and properties new uses as parks and museums. In my opinion, the "valor urbanístico" should be well understood from the context of the overall document and doesn't need to be repeated here.

| Reference: urban planning-design-development
Reference information: Urban planning (urban, city, and town planning) is a technical and political process concerned with the control of the use of land and design of the urban environment, including transportation networks, to guide and ensure the orderly development of settlements and communities. It concerns itself with research and analysis, strategic thinking, urban design, public consultation, policy recommendations, implementation and management.[1]
My cousin who is an urban planner says that the first signs of gentrification are when they start adding a dog park in a poor neighborhood.
Gentrification and urban gentrification refer to the changes that result when wealthier people ("gentry") acquire or rent property in low income and working class communities.
