Spanish term or phrase: Espacio de Interés Singular

Hi, I'd appreciate your help with this term.

I'm guessing it may be a balanced scorecard? I've seen management scorecard too.

Context is:
"Plan de Espacios de Interés Singular con dos objetivos: su protección y la promoción del turismo cultural.
Consiste en la selección de Espacios Singulares de interés, que actualmente se utilizan sólo como un referente cultural, sin darle un uso o fin. El uso de tipo turístico ha de venir acompañado de las tareas de conservación y evitar su degradación, en colaboración con el gobierno regional."

Instead of "Places of Interest" you could also say tourist attractions, but I think Places but Places of Interest works better and sounds more natural here.
