Explicación: En Latinoamérica cuando hablamos de la "periferia" se refiere a asentamientos marginados que rodean la ciudad. En Estados Unidos no se entiende así, pues mayormente las zonas marginadas de las ciudades se encuentran cerca del centro histórico y en la periferia hallamos los suburbios, por lo general con gente de clase media o acomodada.
También sugiero "changes" o "reforms" como opciones, ninguna de las dos me satisface plenamente pero a ver si alguien sugiere una palabra mejor todavía. |
