Explanation:
Here is an explanation in Spanish:

No se llama “salsichear”, aunque bien podría por la forma de este bote neumático alargado. Lo que solemos llamar salchicha, pepino, o incluso morcilla es un “bus-bob”, una moda bien divertida y refrescante que nos llega del otro lado del charco.

Pero esta salchicha o pepino no se come. Te subes encima, casco y chaleco salvavidas incluidos, te agarras a unas asas que tiene en la lona y... ¡a cabalgar! El bus-bob va enganchado a una lancha, que como en el esquí acuático, lo remolca y hace que cojas mucha, pero que mucha velocidad. Cuando lo hayas probado, el Dragon-Khan de Port Aventura te sabrá a poco

El bus-bob es un neumático alargado gigante que tiene dos flotadores pequeños pegados a los lados, en donde se poyan los pies, no sólo por comodidad, sino para intentar mantener una cierta estabilidad.

Suelen tener una capacidad para cinco o seis personas, entre las que tiene que haber un monitor obligatoriamente. Tiene algunos puntos en común con el ráfting, pero en el bus-bob iréis sentados uno de tras de todo, en fila salsichera y no llevaréis ningún tipo de sujeción. La postura es casi la misma que si estuvierais montando a caballo. La única forma de evitar un buen chapuzón es mantener el equilibrio.
