Hace 20 años atrás existía una verdadera diferencia entre afrecho y afrechillo. El afrecho era y es un subproducto mas grotesco, con niveles de fibra de 10.8 a 13.2. El afrechillo era casi el mismo producto pero mas molido pero con un contenido algo mayo de fibra que en el caso de la harinilla de trigo.En estos años el afrechillo y la harinilla es hablar de casi lo mismo. El afrecho en composición es similar en todas las plantas que trabajan con trigo durum y la presentación extrerna puede ser mas hojuelado o mas fino con algo de cáscara. Para la formulación emplea estos análisis en base fresca,
