Spanish term or phrase: maniobras de enmienda
Mexican Spanish > UK English

Hello,

I’m translating an Invitation to Tender (ITT) for the provision of Integrated Port Services at a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Terminal currently under construction in Mexico.

This section is describing the Towing Services required by the Mexican Authorities that issued the ITT.

I just can’t pin down “maniobras de enmienda”, which is not a common term in Spanish, as it only gets single digit hits. And I haven’t been able to find any convincing English term by playing around with synonyms of the meaning of “enmienda” (amendment, correction, emendation, rectification, etc.)

Anyone know what this manoeuvre is called in English?

CONTEXT:

Thanks in advance.

(berth) shifts
Explanation:
After looking through some documents to see how this is used (I checked "enmendar" as well), it appears to refer to changing from one berth to another. The term I found for this change is "shift". Here are some refs:

Notes to answerer
Asker: Excellent research indeed! Many thanks for your efforts Cindy, I reckon you've nailed this one. My current draft is "shifting manoeuvres", which I wasn't very happy with, but this suggestion is definitely working for me. Cheers!

-> Thanks! // Not sure. I think the "maniobras" are called "shifting" - reberthing seems to be the next step? See 10C on p. 15 here: https://www.fsa.usda.gov/Internet/FSA_File/master_solicitati...
