Spanish to English translations [Non-PRO] Tech/Engineering - Transport / Transportation / Shipping / Department name
Spanish term or phrase:(desvío, escapes, dobles diagonales, travesías)
Hi there,
I am having some difficulty with fixed railway equipment and components.
The entire phrase "Nuestro Departamento Técnico (Departamento de Investigación y Desarrollo) nos asegura la capacidad de diseñar y producir aparatos de vía (desvío, escapes, dobles diagonales, travesías) o componentes de los mismos, tales como:corazones de acero duro al manganeso, repuestos de agujas, etc."
My questionis:
For (desvío, escapes, dobles diagonales, travesías) I have placed (switches, run-off points, crossovers, switch diamonds)
and for "acero duro al manganeso, repuestos de agujas" / "hard steel manganese crossovers or spare tongues"
is this correct? any suggestions?

BTW, "desvío" is usually "by-pass"
