Spanish to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Transport / Transportation / Shipping / river shipping | | Spanish term or phrase: volúmenes transportados/no transportados | | The text is about a shipping company that uses river barges to ship merchandise. It refers to "los volúmenes transportados" - "los volúmenes no transportados" and "los volúmenes que no se transportaron efectivamente". The sentences in which these phrases are used offer little context. For example, "la caída de precio por los volúmenes no transportados se compensa parcialmente con la caída de costos variables ...." I've seen the phrase "shipping volume" in English but don't know how to use this in the plural. Do we really say "volumes" or do we use another term like loads, shipments, cargoes, etc. ? Thanks for your help. |
