Spanish term or phrase: vino de guarda
From a text about wine. This is a description of a certain type of wine, and means that it can be stored for a long time, but I can't think of the equivalent in English.
Any ideas???
Thanks,
Paul

Fantastic....just what I was looking for. In the end it was between this answer and Chanti's "wine for aging", which I think is equally valid, but my Oxford Concise Wine Companion (and a search on Google) has confirmed that this is indeed the term used in the UK.
Many thanks,
Paul
