Peccary
Explanation:
I think this may be an error and it should be 'jagüilla' which, according to RAE, is a dangerous sort of peccary.

Well, at least we know they are not galguillas (greyhounds in the diminutive)!

I believe "tigres" refers to jaguars in Guatemala and "leones" are pumas. No idea about the gaguilla, though.

Tigers in Central America?

Aren't they native to Asia? I don't think lions are particularly common in that part of the world either. Is this some sort of historical text?

But couldn't it just as easily be "guaguilla," which is a kind of bird? The peccary eats mainly roots, grass, seeds, and fruit (it is not a dangerous, savage beast).

I found that as well, but do they eat the same things as lions and tigers?

I too would lean towards peccary (javalina, chancho, etc.) as they will eat anything they can overpower and sometimes can be dangerous. I think the bird guagilla (= abubilla) is a hoopoe, an old world sp.

Why did the menu change?
The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to.
The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability.
More information on the changes...
Where is the "My ProZ.com" menu?
Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together.
I cannot find something
