Spanish term or phrase: Chiwanko

The chiwanko bird lives in the Moqueguan altiplano and is notorious for eating the cactus pears.

Actually I'm certain the bird's name is Aymara in origin, though it is used in Spanish as well. I'm hopeful someone will know its Latin name.
