Según el ultimo Informe sobre Desarrollo Humano Honduras (2008/2009) del PNUD, la ***cobertura total de la educación secundaria*** es equivalente al 45.7 % a nivel nacional, entendiéndose que en Honduras parte la formación técnica profesional se lleva a cabo en la etapa final de la secundaria siendo el 30% de los egresados de secundaria ***partícipes de un nivel técnico***.

Nach dem jüngsten Bericht über die menschliche Entwicklung Honduras (2008/2009) des UNDP liegt die vollständige Abdeckung der Sekundarbildung bei landesweit 45,7 %. Mit anderen Worten: In Honduras erfolgt ein Teil der fachlichen Berufsausbildung in der Endphase der Sekundarstufe. Damit haben 30% der Sekundarstufenabsolventen eine fachliche Ebene durchlaufen.
