Entgasungsturm ist auch richtig.
Dort wird normlerweise CO2 abgeschieden. Die Füllung besteht normalerweise aus Ringe (Raschig o. Ä.), in diesem Fall aus HD-PE. Das Wasser fliesst von oben nach unten im Gegenstrom mit der Luft, die vom oberen Gebläse gesaugt wird.
