Nach dem oben genannten spanischen Link entspricht das jubileo der bula jubilar, also wohl in etwa dem Generalablaß/Plenarablaß, aber die Wirkung der Veranstaltung ist doch wohl etwas anderes als das jubileo selbst, ich neige der Übersetzung Jubeljahr zu trotz der anderen Periode, siehe etwa http://www.xacobeo.es/index.php?idMenu=24&idIdioma=7 , aber ich bin Protestant. |

Lamento haberme apresurado demasiado con el grado de "confidence". En algunas traducciones de la Biblia también figura como Erlassjahr.

Explanation:
Ich glaube NICHT, dass es sich um das "Jubeljahr" handelt, siehe den 1. Link:
El Jubileo o Año Santo es en la Iglesia Católica Romana una celebración ordinaria que se celebra cada 25 años y que tiene por objeto obtener la indulgencia plenaria.
Für mich ist es ein "Jubiläumsjahr", dort wird das ganze Jahr über immer wieder gefeiert.
Unterscheiden kann man das Jubiläumsjahr vom Jubeljahr dadurch, dass das Jubiläumsjahr jedes beliebige Jahr sein kann, das Jubeljahr nur zu den Jahresendzahlen ..00, ..25, ..50, ..75 - zuletzt also im Jahr 2000, siehe den 2. Link (wobei natürlich ein Jubiläumsjahr auch in einem kirchlichen "Jubeljahr" stattfinden kann).
