Explanation:
Cornice mi sembra verosimile considerata la tua descrizione ma visto che in spagnolo, se non sbaglio, si dice "marco" avrei pensato che "guarda" tra le varie accezioni presenta anche "guarnizione". Siccome in un portafoto posso vedere il vetro, la guarnizione (decorativa in alcuni casi) e poi la cornice, ti suggerisco di considerare se non sia questa la parola che cerchi.
