La reunión fue en el gran comedor de Eritaña, un salón en pleno jardín, con decorado de arábiga vulgaridad, pobre imitación de los esplendores de la Alhambra. En este local se verificaban los banquetes políticos y las juergas: se brindaba con fogosa oratoria por la regeneración de la patria, y se mecían y ensanchaban las curvas femeniles con el vaivén del tango, al runrún de las guitarras, mientras en los rincones sonaban besos y chillidos y se rompían botellas.
