I'm tempted to be literal here, but I know these letter closings in Spanish just work in Spanish. What would be the closest Portuguese equivalents? Any help is greatly appreaciated.

agree  Sonia da Costa: Convém não esquer que a flexão de "obrigado/a/os/as" depende unicamente de quem agradece (do emissor). Se for um homem, agradece na forma masculina. A mulher agradece no feminino, e sucessivamente. "Atentamente" também é válido, assim como "cordialmente".

  -> Sim, de acordo com a flexão que depende totalmente de que agradece. E é a verdade que é possível usar "atentamente" e "cordialmente" também - Mike :)
