El distribuidor de gases en T está compuesto por dos dampers de regulación de tipo mariposa, uno montado en by-pass a chimenea y otro en la salida a proceso (caldera, secadero, etc...). Este damper es esencialmente unidireccional, teniendo la misión de distribuir los gases de escape de los motogeneradores o de la turbina, hacia el proceso (caldera, secadero, etc...) ó la chimenea.
