La cuenta 48 "ajustes por periodificación" se divide en dos subcuentas: "Gastos anticipado" e "ingresos anticipados", que son gastos e ingresos contailizados en el ejercicio que se cierra pero que corresponden a ejercicios futuros.
En el Plan de contabilidad ruso, se corresponden con las cuentas 97 y 98 "Расходы будущих периодов" y "Доходы будущих периодов".
Por eso yo traduciría "ajustes por periodificación" como Расходы и доходы будущих периодов, y las subcuentas como "Расходы будущих периодов" y "Доходы будущих периодов". |

Вкратце: если получена или уплачена сумма в счет длительного периода (скажем, оплата за работу, которая будет длиться несколько месяцев или страховка на год и более), причем этот период захватывает частично один отчетный период (год, квартал), а частично - другой, то в налоговых документах, в отчетах, в балансах надо эту сумму разложить по отчетным периодам, за часть отчитаться, скажем, в этом году, а остаток перенести на следующий.
Не знаю, как это по-русски называется.
