Profit and Loss Statement (P&L)


Explanation:
Profit and Loss Statement,, or 'P&L' for short, is sometimes also known as an 'Income Statement' - either would be correct however P&L is more commonly used.

In the UK it is referred to as a , 'Profit and Loss Account.'

agree  Susanne Lomander: In the US either Income Statement or P&L Statement is more commonly used, rather than Statement of Operation.

  -> yes, I agree entirely, but in this glossary the asker has control and so uncommon translation and terms are sometimes used - open source editing.
