Having only seen cash in hand and *balance with bankers* in UK newspaper cuttings of both multi-national corporate etc. accounts, and you are in the US, I'm not as confident as the other answerers.

Cash in hand and at bank consists of cash in hand, and balances held with HM ... The total amount of cash at bank and in hand will be disclosed on the face ...

When researching "kassa och bank" last year for an annual report, I discovered a huge variation in terms. Most Swedish companies seem to use generic US English accounting terms.

In this case, Ericsson, Atlas Copco and Telis Sonera all used "cash and bank".
Astra Zeneca (a Swedish/UK company) used "cash"
Gambro used "liquid assets".
