  -> Yngve, your comment and suggestion are entirely valid, but FAR's dictionary is a better or at least a safer authority on accounting terminology than Gullberg. In specialist areas, I prefer safety.

agree  xxxGail Hallber: I find that Gullberg, while not specifically an accounting dictionary, tends to be more "true usage" correct. Some of the definitions in FAR are very poor indeed, perpetuating common translation errors and "Swenglish".
