Det är ingen reklam som fasnar på näthinnan!
Perhaps 'stays in one's mind'

it is not a commercial that sticks in ones mind
Explanation:
I assume this is a "slang expression" , as a Näthinnan is retina .
Would "it's not a commerical/ad that sticks in ones mind" work??
I looked up "fasnar" & should it be "fastnar" ?? See below.....

Swedish entry word
fastnar [²f'as:nar] fastnade fastnat fastna(!) verb
bli sittande (utan att komma loss), bli fast; stanna kvar
<A/x fastnar i y>

English translation
get caught

Examples
fastna i en bilkö---get caught in a traffic jam
fastna i minnet---stick in one's memory

Idiomatic phrases
fastna för något ("tycka om något, bestämma sig för något")---take a liking to something

fasnar på näthinnan
engraved on one's retina

Explanation:
What's wrong with this English idiom. Imprinted/engraved are common enough expressions. Perhaps not "stuck".
