| Swedish term or phrase: spindeln i nätet | I'm looking for a BETTER translation for this very common Swedish expression.
I've used "acting as a hub" when referring to an organization/company/department, but in Swedish more often than not, this expression refers to an individual.
In another forum (IDG eforum) "at the heart of things" has been suggested and a collegue thought "central connection point" but this sounds entirely too network-orientated for my taste.
