Swedish term or phrase: teckna

"Teckna aktier" in particular. I am looking for something eloquent and used in the field. "Signing onto shares" does not seem quite right to me.

One example from my text in particular:
"Teckning kan endast ske av det hela antal aktier, vartill det sammanlagda antalet teckningsoptioner berättigar och som en och samma optionsinnehavare önskar utnyttja."

In another context, it would be possible to say "buy" shares.

Of course, to subscribe for the shares is not incorrect, but I don' t think that is what you are looking for.
