Swedish to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering / Construction safety
Swedish term or phrase: (Help with a long sentence)
This is a heading on a checklist of hazards that might occur or be anticipated at a construction site.

I can't quite make out what is supposed to be said here. It does not quite seem like a full sentence. Perhaps a verb is missing.

Sentence given:

"Arbete där de som arbetar exponeras för joniserande strålning och för vilket
kontrollerat område eller skyddat område skall enligt statens strålskyddsinstitut
föreskrifter (SSI FS 1998:3) om kategoriindelning av arbetstagare och
arbetsställen vid verksamhet med joniserande strålning?

Explanation:
Yes, something might very well be missing. This is a seriously long and irritating sentance and probably shouldn't have question mark at the end. Let's see here, let me attempt a translation:
"Work in which those who perform the work are exposed to (ionised?) radiation and for which controlled areas or protected areas should according to national radiation protection agency/institue (?) guidelines (SSI FS 1998:3) on division according to category of employer and work place with activity involving (ionised?) radiation."
Yeah, something is missing there. Could be just before or after the SSI FS 1998:3 reference, or at the end.
How does one translate "joniserad strålning" to English?

Notes to answerer
Asker: There are many google hits for "ionised radiation" so I am pretty confident of that one. Thanks for your very valiant effort.
