Goes together my last question. Dictionaries suggest "terminate", but after having seen too many Arnold movies, at least I get the wrong associations. But this perhaps isn't true for English/British readers?

Close, withdraw, end - what would you say? It should be possible to use both from the user’s point of view, and from the service provider’s point of view.

agree  Paul Lambert: In spite of the asker's inhibitions about "terminate", I agree that it is the best. In fact, "terminate" in the sense that bothers the asker is itself a euphemism for the very thing Görel dreads.
