protective (frame) rim Explanation: a "sarg" is a protective rim around smth. Maybe superfluous with the "frame" (="ram" as you know). |

(raised) frame Explanation: I found the following paper (in the link), which talks about chair design and refers to "sarg" a lot on p.26.
