Swedish term or phrase: Genomsnittligt förtjänstläge (GFL)
Hello all,

I am having trouble finding an English equivalent/explanation of the above term. It appears in a few places in my document, including in this sentence:

"Kunden ska erlägga ersättning motsvarande vad Uthyrd person erhåller i lön beräknat på genomsnittligt förtjänstläge (GFL) hos Kunden för egen anställd i jämförlig personalkategori."

I've found a Swedish definition of the term:

"Genomsnittligt förtjänstläge innebär att den som är uthyrd ska ha en lön som baseras på vad jämförbara yrkesgrupper tjänar i genomsnitt på den arbetsplats personen bokas ut till."

But like I said I'm still stuck for an English equivalent. Perhaps someone who works a lot in the field has an idea?

Grateful for any help!

English translation:average prevailing wage/salary
Explanation:
This is my immediate response from a U.S. perspective, but I don't know what the U.K. equivalent would be. Example sentence is from one of the results in a Google search for "prevailing wage" at the first link. Second link is a search for "average prevailing wage".

Asker: Thank you Charles, that does seem to be it. Not many UK hits for it as you say, but at least I've got a lead.
