Swedish to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Human Resources / health and safety regulations
Swedish term or phrase: Kompass (INS-XXXX i Kompassen eller RUT-XXXX i Kompassen)
Maskiner och utrustnings skall ställas av säkert enligt RUT-0798 och INS-0799 i Kompassen.

My text is a set of safety rules and emergency procedures for accidents, fire and chemical leaks etc.

There are several references to RUT-[four figures] i Kompassen or to INS-[four figures] i Kompassen.

It seems to be a safety code or set of regulations, which people in the industry are expected to know or refer to, but I can't find anything I recognise by googling.

Thanks for any help!

English translation:Internal term, perhaps?
Explanation:
Once upon a time, back in the '90s, I worked for a large company that had a Group-wide project called Kompass, that included several different aspects. I'm not saying your assignment has anything to do with this project, but could it be an internal term?

Thanks, and you were absolutely right. The client actually sent some positive feedback and liked my translation with this assumption.

Notes to answerer
Asker: I strongly suspect you are right - this is a large company, and as I can find all the other references - to marking hazardous chemicals etc. for instance - in all the usual places, it would make sense that this was something internal.
