Swedish term or phrase:ligger i farans risk
Om en skada ligger i farans riktning till föjld av en händelse, this clearly means that the likelihood of the damage occurring is tilted in the direction of (more) risk. But what is the degree of probability? e.g. "within the bounds of possibility" or "the risk of the damage is greater after the event". I would appreciate some feedback about what a native speaker understands by this phrase and how loosely it is used!
The previous answer "in dangerous territory" is inadequate.
While I don't like your phrase, you have confirmed that the increase in risk is not quantifiable, i.e. it means something like the risk of something happening is more likely than it was before. 2 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer
