On a sheet from the courthouse issuing a judgment, a bunch of information is being given in table form. Among the information is the following:

"Åklagare: -
Namn, tjänstetitel och åklagarmyndiget: Herr X, chef, domstolen.
Partsställning: Klagande och motpart"

Explanation:
There was sthg in Norwegian like this a while back.

An interest required in the case connotes locus standi which, whilst used in Eng. administrative law, is not - in the US/Can. etc. - necessarily confined to such a narrow range of cases. Also, the party component is virtually redundant.

Explanation:
The only place I could find that term (at this time in the morning :-)) was in Ingvar E. Gullberg's Svensk-engelsk fackordbok (3rd Ed.). I wonder if you can't just translate that as "Parties to the action"?
