This is a legal document with amendments to an indictment. I'm trying to figure out what the English equivalent would be, first hand and second hand doesn't seem right in this context.
I'm inclined to think the 'term' requested is misleading in this context. From the little information we have available, this reads like the prosecutor is pursuing alternative theories or charges.
The contextual sentence has no 'i första hand,' and I wonder if it is there at all. If so, we should be given then entire context by the asker.
If not, this reads simply like a judge is saying "The amended charges additionally assert, **in the alternative/alternatively**, that..."
I'd like more information to answer this question, and maybe the asker needs to 'amend' there question to fit their context.
If this is "non-PRO" why are there three different answers and which of them is correct?!
