Explanation:
Or a Call for any form of livestock to come to the shepherd.
Traditionally the calling would be done by a woman in a somewhat high-pitched voice to let the cows or sheepo know that evening was coming, it was milkingtime and therefore time to come in to the barn for the night.

I can not find a sensible single word for it in English.
By the way, it is probably supposed to be Norwegian, not Swedish...
