Swedish term or phrase: kontrollräkning
The term appears in reports on a clinical study concerning two drugs, X and Y. Patients are given a number of tablets of each medication and then come for regular visits on which occasions their supply of X and Y is monitored to see if they have been taking the medications.

neutral  Anna Smith: I think that would sound as if they would compare X with Y. As I understand it, they want to compare the initial number of X tablets with the current number of X tablets. The same for Y.
