After all, in Swedish compounds are spelled without blanks or hyphens (unlike in English), so if it had been a compound it would have been "tänkblommor". One more argument - compounds where "tänk" occurs very often have the linking element "e", as in "tänkesätt", which is not the case with your "compound". Just a thought - I think you are on the right track assuming punctuation is missing. |
