a little Toffle or two

Explanation:
Knytt here comes from Vem ska trösta knyttet by Tove Jansson.
The official English translation of that book is Title: Vem ska trösta knyttet? (Who will comfort Toffle?) Author: Jansson T. Publisher: Jakobstads Tryckeri Och Tidnings Ab (1984) ISBN

Knyttet in the book begins as a very serious, very fearful little fellow. As time goes on, he learns to overcome his fear, talk to other denizens of Tove's world, and eventually fall in love with a "skrutt" , a female version of himself.
