agree  David Friedman: cultural personality: the literal translation of the term works fine in English, may have even come from English originally, no need to rewrite

neutral  Facundo Ortiz: Well, it definitely depends on the context. If we're talking into account a person who is dead and has left a big cultural legacy in that society, I think "cultural icon" is the best option. For instance, Elvis Presley was a "kulturpersonlighet".
