nanggigigil = trembling because of emotion / feeling thrilled

gigil (according to L. English)
= "tremble or thrill from some irrepressible emotion."
= "gritting of the teeth because of suppressed anger"

I just can't find the equivalent of nanggigigil in English....

Explanation:
The word 'nanggigigil' alone does not give a complete though unless there is a pretense to its use. It can be used both positively and negatively. For it to give its essence you would have to be reading or watching a dialogue wherein the term is expressed. Still it will be used as a phrase and not as a single word.

-If you were to use this term positively then you should say "thrilled with excitement" or "with joy/happiness/anything positive".

-If you were to use this term negatively then you should say "seething with anger" or "with rage/ spite/anything negative".
Other relative probabilities you can use here are: 'fuming' 'teeming' even 'fretting'. Again, it's a matter of style from hereon.
