No typo here. โพรง really means the cavity. The underbody contains many cavities where. Please refer to the URL below.

Asker: โพรงต่างๆ - would that by a typo here? My dictionary tells me that โพรง means "hollow, cavity" ... that doesn't really make sense. Should it be โครง and would that be "chassis"? Thanks!!
