Turkish to English translations [PRO]
Science - Agriculture / egg production
Turkish term or phrase: köy yumurtası
Title of a scientific article:

KÖY YUMURTASI VE TİCARİ YUMURTALARIN KALİTE ÖZELLİKLERİ BAKIMINDAN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI

The terms "village farming" and e.g. "village chicken production" are used. However, I couldn't find examples for "village egg production". What would be the suitable English expression?

TIA

After calculation, the village eggs production is subtracted from total egg target. The remaining egg target becomes the production target for the commercial egg production subsystem.

agree  Özden Arıkan: köy yumurtası doesn't have to be produced in a köy, it refers to the method or circumstances

cage-free farm egg

Explanation:

Saygilar.

Benim 2000 yilinda bir veteriner icin yaptigim Eng>TR cevirinin orjinal metninde kullanilan terminoloji "cage free egg" ve "factory farm egg" olarak geciyordu.
