"to confront someone with something" = to face someone with incriminating evidence, charges of wrongdoing, or criticism.
Example: The angry husband confronted his wife with the evidence of her financial irresponsibility. The police confronted Wilson with the witness's statement.

May God (Allah) always help you meet "the salt of the earth" people.
Explanation: the salt of the earth => a very good and honest person that you can always depend on
This comes from the Bible, when Jesus is talking to His disciples: 'Ye are the salt of the earth:but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted?' (Matthew 5:13)
