GLOSSARY ENTRY (DERIVED FROM QUESTION BELOW)
Turkish term or phrase:
gereğini müsaadelerine saygılarımla arzederim.
kindly requesting your consent for the necessary action
hi foghorn. That is a cute handle by the way:-) Bu terim genelde dilekcelerin sonunda kullanildigi icin istenen "necessary action" detayli olarak bilinmekte. Dilekceler icin "the" kullanirdim. Ancak diger context ler icin haklisin. "the" baska context lerde gereksiz ve fazla kisitlayici olabilir.
“THE necessary action” is too loaded and rather awkward if you’re kindly asking consent; leaves no room for the authority except to approve or disapprove. It could be all right though without the ‘definite article’. Just an opinion.
To make it clearer, i'd say loaded pleas are whole lot bed deal.
What is “the necessary” action after all? Or what is entailed? Do we have an authority to impose an Either-Or-Gate?
This was train of thought i had before making that remark.
Thank you KARTIN
